Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy

Current status

When the Google Ads pilot is enabled, the Website displays Cookiebot before loading Google Ads advertising or measurement technologies. Without valid consent, Vallarta Extended Stays does not load the Google Ads tag.

When an approved marketing link contains valid campaign parameters, Vallarta Extended Stays may use sessionStorage only in the current browser tab and for a maximum logical period of 24 hours to retain a limited attribution category. This temporary state contains only an approved categorical campaign identifier, landing group, technical timestamp and schema version. It does not contain name, email, telephone, message, form content, analytics IP, visitor ID, tracking session ID, fingerprint, gclid, raw search terms or an advertising profile. It expires and normally disappears when the tab closes, subject to browser behavior. Aggregate acquisition counters may be retained for up to 24 months. No analytics cookies, remarketing or behavioral advertising are used for this attribution.

Technology providers

Vallarta Extended Stays uses certain technology providers to operate the Website, including services for hosting, abuse prevention and communications delivery.

No cookies created by these providers were observed in the visitor's browser during normal Website navigation.

Voluntarily submitting an inquiry may involve the processing of information by technology providers as explained in our Privacy Notice.

Abuse prevention

The inquiry form uses a technical rate-limiting mechanism to help prevent automated or abusive submissions.

This mechanism does not currently rely on tracking cookies.

The IP address associated with a request may be cryptographically transformed to create a temporary identifier used to apply the request limit. Further details are provided in the Privacy Notice.

Future changes

Vallarta Extended Stays may introduce additional technologies in the future to improve the Website, including:

• usage analytics;
• maps;
• embedded media;
• advertising technologies;
• remarketing;
• chat functionality;
• social-media integrations; or
• other third-party services.

If any such technology uses cookies, local browser storage or other non-essential identifiers, this Policy will be updated and, where required under applicable law, appropriate notice, control or consent mechanisms will be implemented.

Browser controls

Although Vallarta Extended Stays does not currently use cookies during normal browsing, browsers generally allow users to review, block and delete cookies through their privacy settings.

Specific instructions depend on the browser and device being used.

Updates to this Policy

Vallarta Extended Stays may update this Policy when the technologies used by the Website or applicable legal requirements change.

The current version will remain available through the Website's Cookies section.

Language notice

This English version is provided for the convenience of international users. In the event of any inconsistency in interpretation, the Spanish version will prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.
